What Shunno is

Not quite a cafe.
Not quite a gallery.

Shunno welcomes you to a space for art, learning, creativity, dialogue and community. Every visit contributes to an environment where exhibitions, workshops, research, creative work and meaningful conversations can thrive.

As our community has grown and the ways people engage with Shunno have evolved, we introduced a reservation system to make the best use of our shared space — and to make sure every visit has a meaningful purpose.

The studio

A working printmaking studio since 2005

Six hundred square feet, one large etching press and one small. Shunno began as a printmaking studio serving the creative community, and in 2017 widened its priority to community programmes involving people from all walks of life in the creative act.

When you book a session here you're working in a real studio with real equipment — not a pop-up craft table.

How a reservation works

Five steps, and nothing is charged until a person has read your request and said yes.

Tell us about your visit

Pick a date, a time and an experience. It's a request, not a booking — no payment at this stage.

We read it

A person checks the date, the studio's capacity and whether the session works as you've described it.

You hear back

Approved, or we come back with a question or an alternative time. Either way you'll get an email.

Pay to confirm

A secure link for bKash, Nagad, card or bank. A gift voucher can be redeemed here instead.

Come and make something

Your confirmation carries the date, time, session and arrival details. Materials are waiting.

Every request is read by a person before anything is charged.
Why we work this way
  • Reservations keep the studio at a size where the work — and the conversation — stays good.
  • Group sizes are limited so everyone gets time with a tutor and space at the table.
  • Nothing is charged until your request has been approved. No holding deposits, no automated checkout.
  • If a date doesn't work, we'll say so and suggest another rather than quietly declining.
  • Plans change. Get in touch and we'll do what we can to move your visit.

Before you come
